HOW TO INSTALL CUSTOM RECOVERY ON LENOVO A319 CARLIVE TOUCH v3.0

To root this device (and other lenovo devices) you must flash a custom recovery to the device. The Tutorial below  teaches how to do this.

This process works on other Mtk Devices.(download the appropriate custom recovery for the device and follow the steps below)

REQUIREMENTS

SP Flash Tool v3.1344. DOWNLOAD ↦ HERE
CTRv27 custom recovery Carliv Touch. DOWNLOAD ↦ HERE CWM v5.5.0.4 custom recovery. DOWNLOAD ↦ HERE
INSTALL USB VCOM. DOWNLOAD ↦ HERE
 

STEPS

1. Extract and run SP Flash Tool v3.1344 as administrator.

 
2. On flash tool, check DA DL All with Checksum option.

3. Click on Scatter-Loading button.

4. Browse to extracted custom recovery folder.

5. Select MT6572_Android_scatter.txt and wait for recovery.img to load.

6. Press Download button (warning; 'not all images loaded completely' ignore and press Yes button).

7. Turn off the device.

8. Connect the device to the computer using Usb if USB VCOM driver is correctly installed flash tool will recognize the device and start installation process, the process takes a while.

9. A green PASS is seen when installation is complete.

10. Done. And disconnect device from the computer

To enter recovery mode on Lenovo A319 press and hold Volume Up + Power Buton while the device is off.
